SEATTAIL is a compact, retractable rear mudguard designed specifically for road bikes. It stays tucked neatly underneath your saddle when you don't need it, and can be deployed in seconds when the roads get wet.

Designed and developed entirely in-house, SEATTAIL is made from high-quality, durable materials and refined through extensive testing and real-world riding. Every part of the design has been carefully considered, from the mounting system and locking mechanism to the compact folded position.

At less than 80 grams, SEATTAIL adds minimal weight while providing effective protection against road spray on wet roads.

The modular design allows the entire assembly to be disassembled and serviced, while the refined mounting system keeps SEATTAIL securely attached to your saddle, even on rougher roads.

What's in the box

Each Seattail is printed and carefully assembled in the same room.
Every piece is made with the same attention and precision as the next.

Installation Guide

Straight out of the packaging

Step 1: Release the main body

Pull the tab to release the main body, then slide the main body towards the end of the rail.

Sliding the main body away creates more space around the mounting arms, making installation easier.

The pull tab also keeps the SEATTAIL securely tucked away when folded, preventing it from accidentally opening while riding. Pulling the tab is required to release and open the SEATTAIL.

Step 2: Slide onto the saddle rails

Slide the mounting arms over the saddle rails, left side first, followed by the right side.

With the right arm in the open position, the angle allows it to slide easily over the rail. This makes installation quick and straightforward.

Some force may be required depending on your saddle. If necessary, slightly loosen the mounting bolt before installation and tighten it again afterwards.

Step 3: Close the swing arm

Swing the arm over the right saddle rail.

This secures the SEATTAIL to the saddle and allows the spring to release and settle against the underside of the saddle.

The swing arm also creates a friction point that helps prevent the SEATTAIL from moving down on rough roads, reducing unwanted movement and rattling.

Step 4: Lock the swing arm

Slide the locking knob into position to mechanically lock the swing arm.

Make sure the arm is fully locked before riding.

Step 5: Tuck it away

Fold the SEATTAIL underneath the saddle and pull the main body into its stored position.

The pull tab will hold it securely in place.

You're ready to ride.

When rain arrives, simply pull the SEATTAIL out and deploy it.

Additional notes

If any part of the SEATTAIL feels too loose, all bolts can be tightened using two standard Allen keys, like the ones commonly included in bike multi-tools.

Small adjustments to the bolts can be used to fine-tune the fit and tension of the mounting system to your saddle.
